Clean Transportation Program a Priority for Reyes

Sacramento - Majority Leader Eloise Gómez Reyes (D -San Bernardino), has championed AB 1389 which would modernize the California Energy Commission’s Clean Transportation Program (formerly known as the Alternative and Renewable Fuel and Vehicle Technology Program), yesterday passed the Assembly Floor and will be vetted by the Senate. The Clean Transportation Program provides incentives and grants to eligible entities in order to accelerate the deployment of advanced clean vehicle and fueling infrastructure technology.

Majority Leader Reyes’ Bill to Establish California Commission on Human Rights Passes First Committee

Sacramento – AB 412 authored by Assembly Majority Leader Eloise Gómez Reyes (D -San Bernardino) successfully passed the Assembly Accountability and Administrative Review Committee.  AB 412 would establish a new commission to oversee the status of human rights within the state of California. The California Commission on Human Rights would provide oversight and policy recommendations aimed to protect the human rights of all Californians.
